How Many RF Microneedling Sessions Will I Need?
Results may be achieved in as little as one treatment. For the most optimal outcome, we recommend a series of three Morpheus8 sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Our medical team will provide you with a custom treatment plan based on the texture, tone and laxity of your skin during your consultation.
How Long Do Morpheus8 Results Last?
Visible results from Morpheus RF microneedling can be seen within a few days. Because the skin’s elastin tightens during the treatment, some patients will even see immediate improvement. Typically, collagen renewal requires approximately six weeks, after which you’ll see noticeable results. Improvements will continue up to three months post-treatment. Morpheus8 results are permanent, and your skin will continue to age from its new point of improvement.

What Does Microneedling Feel Like? Does It Hurt?
Before your service, your med spa practitioner will apply a topical numbing cream to your skin for 30 minutes to minimize any discomfort during your treatment. Because it desensitizes nerve endings, most patients describe the treatment as virtually painless — like a mild heating sensation with an occasional, fleeting zap from the micro-needles quickly passing over the skin.

How Will I Look & Feel After My Treatment?
After microneedling with radio frequency, your skin will be red and slightly tender, much like a sunburn. Also, you may have tiny pinprick marks on your skin that crust and flake off. The redness usually dissipates within 24-48 hours depending on the deepness of your treatment. Most patients return to work or resume social activities after one day.

After your Morpheus8 treatment, follow these post-care instructions for three days:
1) Avoid direct sun exposure and wear protective sunblock every day

What areas can be treated?
Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body. The most common areas of treatment are zones that are regularly exposed to the sun. This often includes the face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands and arms.
What steps must be taken before the procedure?
Avoid direct, excessive sun exposure or tanning one month prior to treatment.
What should I expect during and after Lumecca?
During treatment there will be a bright flash of light from the Lumecca that feels like a light elastic sensation. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and
usually subsides within an hour. Over the next 24-48 hours you may see a darkening of pigmented spots; in the week afterwards the pigmented lesions flake off, leading to an evening out of skin tone. After treating vascular lesions you may see the vein blanch and disappear or a color change in the vessel which dissipates after a few days.
How many sessions are required?
An improved skin appearance can be noted after the first session. Multiple sessions provide even better results. Treatment regime depends on the severity of skin damage, skin type, type of treatment (vascular vs sun damage) and energy settings.
How quickly will I see results?
Sun damage and skin complexion results can be seen a few days after the first session. The skin will continue to look younger and more brilliant over time with most visible results after 1-2 weeks. Having multiple photofacial sessions will improve the final result. For vascular treatments such as facial telangiectasias, results can be seen in up to 2 weeks.
Are there any side effects?
Most patients do not experience any side effects and any skin reaction usually resolves within a few hours. Patients may find they are sensitive to sunlight immediately after treatment. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight and tanning.
